It is our constant endeavor to bring betterment to the quality of people’s lives. We would like to see people become happier and more efficient and better able to cope with themselves and with the people and situations around them. Hence, we at Navnirman run special counseling and psychotherapy center through which we work with people who need it at very low cost. According to Dr. Stephen Wilson, Oxford University,” People who undergo psychotherapy have a better quality of life, they have more stable relationships. They are goal directed with higher self esteem. They have low scores on the measures of depression.”

Psychotherapy has an uninformed stigma attached to it, but in today’s self inflicted mental mayhem, it could be one of the best roads to individual and collective happiness.Counselling is a systematic process which gives individuals an opportunity to explore, discover and clarify ways of living more resourcefully, with a greater sense of well being.

Through our counseling center, we work with students, parents, marital and growth issues of any individual or family at a low cost. Those who wish to seek professional help can contact us for further details,

There are many prejudices in our community when we hear about counseling and psychotherapy. It is considered as insane to go for help to psychotherapist or to a counselor. At the same time we must celebrate the beauty it brings in the life of the people who are emotionally disturbed. Going to psychotherapist is going to physician who is specialized in the study of emotions.

In social sector, we have seen and studied the courses known as “Paraprofessional Course in Social Work” which are designed to train people to work as grass root workers in social organizations.

As per our experience, people who are considered as low profile can work more effectively if they are trained in appropriate manner with lot of commitment to develop their own society. Youth who have had no access to formal education have no choice left to them other than to work as q grass root worker in a social organization. All social organizations may not be in a position to organize regular training for these grass root workers due to work pressure. As we have resources and capacities, we are trying to help such people in growing their self and indirectly helping marginalized communities to get quality support for improving their society.

Hence, we have launched the social engineering course to help people identify their potentials so as to exploit it for their self betterment. The main focus of this course is to help people develop their cognitive understanding and helping them in becoming aware of their issues. We intend in helping them identify their met and unmet needs and how they are impacting them in their day to day life. The other focus of this course would be making them sensitive to people around them and the larger community.

Duration – One year on every Saturday.

Timings- 10 a.m. to 5p.m.
